Lesson 276 The Word of God Is Given Me To Speak

PART II.  SECTION 6: WHAT IS THE CHRIST?

Lesson 276 The Word of God Is Given Me To Speak.

  1. What is the Word of God?  My Son is pure and holy as Myself.  And thus did God become the Father of the Son.  He loves, for thus was he created.  This the Word His Son did not create with Him, because in this, His Son was born.  Let us accept His Fatherhood, and all is given us.  Deny we were created in His Love and we deny our Self, to be unsure of who we are, of Who our Father is, and for what purpose we have come.  And yet, we need but to acknowledge Him Who gave His Word to us in our creation, to remember Him and so recall our Self.
  2. Father, Your Word is mine.  And it is this that I would speak to all my brothers, who are given me to cherish as my own, as I am loved and blessed and saved by You.[1]

This is the Word of God – My Son is pure and holy as Myself!  God did not make a mistake.  God created us in His image.  We are Sons of God.  He loves us, or else He would not have created us.  He did not create us to torment us and give us a long list of rules and regulations.  He put His own Holy Spirit within each one of us.  We will not listen to any other gospel which intends to condemn, frighten, and rule us, for God’s Heart within us, Holy Spirit, assures us of our purity, salvation, redemption, and return to God from the splintered, ego world of nightmares and illusions.

When we deny that we were created by His Love and in His Love, we deny our true Selves.  In our stupor, we ask each other who we are, what we are, and what we are doing here in this ego world of fear, survival, and unholy competition. We come up with all kinds of ludicrous and demeaning theories of our origins; we serve false gods; we build extortionist institutions to legitimize our fantasies.  We hide our despair in gluttony, prescription drugs, alcohol, sex, perversions, religion, and consumerism.  We demand that our special relationships – our families, our mates, our friends, our communities, supply us with the sense of love and belonging that only our Heavenly Father can offer us.  With bitter disappointment and heartbreaking consistency, we strike out at the ones we love the most because they fail to assuage our grief and sorrow while weighing us down with their demands and disorders!

And yet all we have to do is listen to our hearts, to acknowledge Him Who gave His Spirit to us in our creation, to remember our Father, to recall who we really are. We are not egos, and we are not bodies; we are holy spirits made in the image of God temporarily seduced by the seductive shadows of the nightmare world.  Let us not be ashamed to speak of this truth, let us not be ashamed of our birthright!  Let us boldly broadcast our Father’s love for us – for creation was given us to cherish as our very own, for we are loved and blessed and saved by God, our Father and Lord.  This is the Word of God given us to share today.  Go in peace.  In the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Coming up on sixty, my love for God, home and hearth, my husband and family fueled my decision to devote the rest of my life only to pursuits which brought love, joy, peace, and purpose. I am a writer, seeker, student, and teacher with experience professional and otherwise from waitressing to teaching the English language in China, Taiwan, and Singapore. I hold a BA in Psychology from Bloomsburg University, which took nearly 30 years to attain while I squeezed courses in between raising my children, journaling, relationships, work, and an assortment of escapades, some of which I would rather forget! An ongoing passion for reading, writing, adventure, food, and fun, eventually led me to the love of my life, James, whom I met in 1996 and married in 1997. Our life together has been an exciting journey of work and travel, spiritual awakening, and domestic bliss ever since. Although we have experienced the tragic loss of family members and friends through death and estrangement, we have managed to turn our special relationship into a holy one by the grace of God and an acute and growing awareness of “there must be a better way!” In 2006, I published my first novel, Luella’s Calling, and am currently working on my second, Grover Good and the Stone Chateau. From 2013 through 2018, I worked as a Prevention Education Specialist for Transitions, a local domestic violence sexual abuse victim’s service agency. My work there, fueled by a lifelong enthusiasm for teaching, led me to obtain an MS in Education from Scranton University. In 2018, I resigned to accompany James on his work travels while focusing on my calling to study and teach A Course in Miracles. To that end, I dedicate the rest of my days to writing, sharing, and teaching the message of salvation found within the Course pages. Thank you for your interest in this blog.
