Lesson 360 Peace Be To Me, The Holy Son Of God…

II.  SECTION 14. What am I?

Lesson 360 Peace be to me, the holy Son of God.  Peace to my brother, who is one with me.  Let all the world be blessed with peace through us.

  1. Father, it is Your peace that I would give, receiving it of You.  I am Your Son, forever just as You created me, for the Great Rays remain forever still and undisturbed within me. I would reach to them in silence and in certainty, for nowhere else can certainty be found.  Peace be to me and peace to all the world.  In holiness were we created, and in holiness do we remain.  Your Son is like to You in perfect sinlessness.  And with this thought we gladly say, “Amen.”[1]

This lesson concludes the Lord’s response to our question: “What am I?”  When we stand with Christ and become one with Him, we become the Prince of Peace – the plural which can only be whole as the One.  Together as we repent our separateness, as we embrace our true Identities in Christ, the rays of light and holiness placed within can be obscured no more!  Our individual sparks of God, joined together save us from loneliness, sorrow, darkness, and death.  We have found our Selves.  We are certain.  There is no more question.  We are the peaceful holy Son of God.

When we bring our sniveling, sinful, shameful forms of flesh to God, when we say, “Oh Father, there must be a better way!  This cannot be all there is!  Surely, You did not create this mess!” we have come to the place of redemption.  Here is where we begin our path to Him, to find our rightful Selves in Christ, His Son.  Here is where we put down our arrogance, our ignorance, and false pride.  Here is how all that is against Christ is extinguished from our minds and all that is for Christ is awakened, lovingly nurtured and carefully cultivated.  This is when the dramas and traumas of this world no longer hold our interest or distract us from His call.  Here is where our humanity draws to an end, and our Divinity is made real to us.

We share peace because God made us in peace and has given it to us.  We share holiness because God made us in holiness and has given it to us.  We are like God because God made us to be like Him, sinless, pure, and whole.  We accept our true Identity in Him.  We know who and what we are.  With courage, we claim our Identity.  With confidence, we own our divinity.  With certainty we call Him Father and ourselves His beloved Son.

And with this glad thought, we all say, “Amen!”

My love for God, home and hearth, my husband and family fueled my decision to devote the rest of my life only to pursuits which brought love, joy, peace, and purpose. I am a writer, seeker, student, and teacher with experience professional and otherwise from waitressing to teaching the English language in China, Taiwan, and Singapore. I hold a BA in Psychology from Bloomsburg University, which took nearly 30 years to attain while I squeezed courses in between raising my children, journaling, relationships, work, and an assortment of escapades, some of which I would rather forget! An ongoing passion for reading, writing, adventure, food, and fun, eventually led me to the love of my life, James, whom I met in 1996 and married in 1997. Our life together has been an exciting journey of work and travel, spiritual awakening, and domestic bliss ever since. Although we have experienced the tragic loss of family members and friends through death and estrangement, we have managed to turn our special relationship into a holy one by the grace of God and an acute and growing awareness of “there must be a better way!” In 2006, I published my first novel, Luella’s Calling, and am currently working on my second, Grover Good and the Stone Chateau. From 2013 through 2018, I worked as a Prevention Education Specialist for Transitions, a local domestic violence sexual abuse victim’s service agency. My work there, fueled by a lifelong enthusiasm for teaching, led me to obtain an MS in Education from Scranton University. In 2018, I resigned to accompany James on his work travels while focusing on my calling to study and teach A Course in Miracles. To that end, I dedicate the rest of my days to writing, sharing, and teaching the message of salvation found within the Course pages. Thank you for your interest in this blog.
