Perfect Pickled Cabbage
1/4 head large cabbage, shredded
3 carrots, shredded
1/4 large onion, grated
1/2 jar bread and butter pickles, with two tablespoons brine
Salt, pepper, celery seeds, and sugar to taste.
Process vegetables and pickles, separately in food processor to desired consistency. We like our slaw a little on the rough side, as you can see from the photo. Mix together in a bowl and try to stay out of it for at least an hour to meld and enhance the flavors!
